Kirkleatham Museum
& Grounds
Kirkleatham Museum is a local heritage museum that is a treasure trove of artefacts, all housed in a magnificent 1709 Queen Anne building that began life as a free school for boys.
The museum features a wide range of exhibits and displays covering local industrial, maritime and social history.

Kirkleatham Owl Centre
Located on the estate and founded in 1990 is Kirkleatham Owl Centre which is the UK’s oldest established Owl Centre. Over the years the collection has grown to include a wide range of creatures, ranging from Vultures and Meerkats, to Rabbits and Emus and lots more besides!
